Level 60 & Nix: what's changing and how to prep

The Frozen Divide: Nix raises Throne and Liberty's level cap to 60 and opens the largest region in the game so far. Here's what actually changes at the new cap, how you'll reach and survive Nix, and what's worth doing before launch on June 25, 2026 — based on what's been officially announced.

Based on the official reveal, verified 2026-06-22. We'll add concrete leveling routes once Nix is live — no invented paths before launch.

The level 60 cap

The cap rises from the current ceiling to level 60. That means a fresh stretch of progression, more skill points to invest, and a new tier of gear to chase. If you're already maxed, expect to resume the leveling grind the day Nix launches — so it's worth clearing anything cap-gated now.

Reaching Nix

Nix is the largest region added to Throne and Liberty to date — a frozen tundra of ancient ruins, unstable Red Fog, and mysterious rifts. Two new traversal options arrive with it: gliding via the Aethersuit and riding the Auroral Path across the skies, both built for covering the region's scale.

New dungeons at cap

Two new co-op dungeons launch alongside Nix with fresh encounters, mechanics, and rewards. These are where a lot of the early level-60 gear chase will happen, so line up a group you can run them with on day one.

The itemization overhaul

Nix ships a major evolution to itemization, giving players more control over how they pursue upgrades and widening build customization. Expect the weapon-combo meta — including where the new Gauntlets land — to shift over the first couple of weeks as players learn the new systems.

How to prepare before launch

Clear any time-limited or cap-locked content you've been sitting on, bank crafting materials and growthstones for the post-launch upgrade rush, and decide whether you're rolling a Gauntlets build or sticking with your current combo. Guild leaders: get everyone's current gear and weapon combo logged now so you can see who's caught up once the Nix grind starts.
