What's in The Frozen Divide

The Nix region

The largest region added to Throne and Liberty to date — a frozen tundra of ancient ruins, unstable Red Fog, and mysterious rifts. New traversal arrives via the Aethersuit glide and the Auroral Path across the skies.

Gauntlets — new weapon

A close-range Tank/DPS bruiser. The heavier stance delivers devastating strikes; the aggressive clawed state is built for relentless pressure. The first new weapon in the game's roster since the original nine.

Level 60 cap

The level cap rises to 60, opening a fresh progression curve, new skill points to spend, and stronger gear to chase across Nix.

Itemization overhaul

A major evolution to itemization gives players greater control over how they pursue upgrades and expands build customization — expect the weapon-combo meta to shift in the weeks after launch.

Two new co-op dungeons

Two new co-op dungeons arrive with fresh encounters, mechanics, and rewards to farm at the new cap.

Gauntlets — the new weapon

A new close-range weapon that blends survivability, aggression, and mobility. A heavier combat stance lands devastating strikes, while an aggressive clawed state is built for relentless attacks.

Pairings below are launch-window projections, not settled meta — Gauntlets is brand new. Expect tiers to move in the first week of Nix. See the full Gauntlets class overview.

Coming after launch

New Archboss & Colossus

A new Archboss encounter with related gear and a new Colossus encounter land in the weeks after launch (July–August).

New Battleground mode

A new Battleground arrives with new rules, objectives, and a new battlefield — fresh large-scale PvP to organize around.

Dimensional Trials & Castle Siege

Dimensional Trials support comes to existing dungeons, alongside improvements to Castle Siege.
